Tantalise your Taste Buds !

 

All my cakes are freshly made to order and with only the finest ingredients. I take pride in making all my own preserves and curds trying to use ingredients grown either in my own garden or local producers.

 

My cakes consist of three layers of delicious sponge with two generous layers of filling and so are taller than a lot of other cakes being at least 5inches in depth. You do get a lot of cake for your money!  They are then coated with a white chocolate ganache shell to ensure a perfectly iced finish.

 

And so, to the flavours !! 

 

Vanilla sponge with homemade strawberry or raspberry preserves and vanilla buttercream.   

Infused with Madagascan vanilla to give that smooth creamy taste !

 

Lemon sponge with homemade lemon curd and vanilla buttercream.

Deliciously fresh and tangy !  Ideal for serving as a summer dessert ! 

Can also be infused with Elderflower or Poppyseeds ! 

 

Chocolate sponge with chocolate bttercream.

Using Valrhona 100% cocoa to give that rich chocolatey taste !

 

Rich Chocolate mudcake made with Fairtrade 100% dark chocolate

with whipped chocolate ganache

Carrot cake (with or without nuts) with orange frosting

A moist deliciously flavoured cake with a hint of spice !

 

Jamaican ginger sponge with lemon or orange frosting

Deep ginger flavour and colour which goes beautifully with  orange or lemon.

 

Coffee and walnut sponge with coffee cream filling

Made with espresso coffee for that deep, smooth flavour ( for adult version I make this with the addition of Baileys Irish cream )  

 

Tropical coconut sponge filled with homemade pineapple, passion fruit and mango preserve with vanilla buttercream.

Peach and Prosecco – Prosecco flavoured sponge filled with peach preserve and butter cream.

Light and fruity with a delicate flavour of Prosecco

 

 Raspberry and White chocolate

Made with lemon or vanilla sponge with fresh raspberries, raspberry conserve and white chocolate buttercream.

 

Toffee Apple -  Light caramel sponge filled with apple/cinnamon puree and salted caramel buttercream. 

Just the thing for an Autumn / Winter wedding ! Can be made without apple puree if desired. 

 

Cherry Bakewell sponge with vanilla buttercream and red cherry preserve. Also delicious with homemade Raspberry preserve !  Contains ground almonds

Black Forest Chocolate cake with kirsch flavoured buttercream and black cherry preserve.

Take a trip to the Black Forest with this deeply rich chocolate cake and succulent black cherry preserve !

 

Wheat free chocolate/orange cake with chocolate b/c.

No-one would know this was wheat free !  Wonderfully moist chocolate cake with an intense flavour of fresh oranges ! A family favourite.

 

Fruit Cake packed with sultanas, raisins and currants steeped in brandy.

( small extra charge )

Packed with only the best mixed and candied fruit, soaked in generous amounts of brandy and rum !
